State Fair

Our annual state fair day... So much fun minus the 90+ degree weather. Boy do I have a new appreciation/sympathy for the work Gary does every day!!! We had a great time with Mamaw, Papa, the Collins family, Kristi and Frances. We packed up the big red wagon and headed out. Of course anyone who knows Brayden knows that being carried ranks way above riding in a wagon or even worse walking. (Maybe that is why he has so much energy.) Famer Brayden... The kids had a great time petting the animals and feeding the goats. When Brayden wasn't sticking his tongue out in deep concentration, he was laughing his head off at the crazy goats. They went after that food like they hadn't been fed in months. Of course it could be that the food was just that good. Right Uncle Kevin?

Brayden proved that he could hold his own on the farm with the chores as well as the animals. Frances and Brayden fed animals, collected eggs, planted seeds, harvested veggies, milked a cow, and drove a tractor.

Cowboy Brayden... Brayden loved all the animals but his favorite as always was the pony. He loves horses thanks to our good friends, the McCools, who introduced him to horses at a very young age. Brayden told Papaw that he needed a horse but for now we will have to wait until we visit Sam this fall to ride any more ponies. Brayden can't wait!!!
Coaster Brayden... Brayden proved his fearless nature yet again with the rides. Unfortunatley Frances was not quite 36 in so she had to sit out this time but Brayden braved the rides with his cousins Alex and Bailey. Up and down, spinning, jerking, it didn't matter, he loved them all. And unlike me, he kept his hands up the whole time. He definitely gets his love of rides from his father!!!
