You Are My Sunshine

Brayden has always loved music. When I was pregnant, he rarely kicked me except when I was at choir rehearsal, and then I felt like a trampoline. And even from the time he was a baby, he has loved dancing and listening to music. Our song has always been You Are My Sunshine. I used to sing him to sleep with it and even now every once in awhile he will ask me to sing it to him. Last week, he started singing it to me. It is adorable.

Gearing Up For Summer

We are getting a little stir crazy at the Jewell household. We are definitely ready for some nice weather. To burn a little energy and practice up for summer, Brayden has started riding his bicycle in the basement. He has a few obstacles but he rather enjoys running into things, especially me. Here he is all suited up with his helmet, elbow and shoulder pads. He is really good at getting on his gear before getting on his bike. Hopefully it stays that way.
