State Fair

Our annual state fair day... So much fun minus the 90+ degree weather. Boy do I have a new appreciation/sympathy for the work Gary does every day!!! We had a great time with Mamaw, Papa, the Collins family, Kristi and Frances. We packed up the big red wagon and headed out. Of course anyone who knows Brayden knows that being carried ranks way above riding in a wagon or even worse walking. (Maybe that is why he has so much energy.) Famer Brayden... The kids had a great time petting the animals and feeding the goats. When Brayden wasn't sticking his tongue out in deep concentration, he was laughing his head off at the crazy goats. They went after that food like they hadn't been fed in months. Of course it could be that the food was just that good. Right Uncle Kevin?

Brayden proved that he could hold his own on the farm with the chores as well as the animals. Frances and Brayden fed animals, collected eggs, planted seeds, harvested veggies, milked a cow, and drove a tractor.

Cowboy Brayden... Brayden loved all the animals but his favorite as always was the pony. He loves horses thanks to our good friends, the McCools, who introduced him to horses at a very young age. Brayden told Papaw that he needed a horse but for now we will have to wait until we visit Sam this fall to ride any more ponies. Brayden can't wait!!!
Coaster Brayden... Brayden proved his fearless nature yet again with the rides. Unfortunatley Frances was not quite 36 in so she had to sit out this time but Brayden braved the rides with his cousins Alex and Bailey. Up and down, spinning, jerking, it didn't matter, he loved them all. And unlike me, he kept his hands up the whole time. He definitely gets his love of rides from his father!!!

Water Boy

Yes, more water photos. We love being in the water, regardless of whether it is in our pool or out on the lake with our good friends, Mitch, Kristi and Frances. This weekend, for the first time, Brayden got to go tubing. He was a natural. He had a blast, first with Mommy, then Kristi, then Daddy got his turn. Then after I took my turn at being beat by some good waves, Mitch showed us what true water sports were on his wakeboard. After some really awesome jumps and almost flips, we went back to our friend's, Brad and Sarah's, house and Brayden jumped on the water trampoline with Frances, Grant, and Kristi. Brayden has been terrified of trampolines but with a little help from his big buddy, Grant, he was jumping like crazy, making everyone a little nervous.
